When you sponsor a dog at ULPR please now that every penny that is sent is used strictly to love, care and spoil these pets.  The pets that are in need of sponsorship are either what we call "lifers", or are pets with demanding medical needs in order for them to carry out a happy and comfortable life.  Our "lifers" are pets that were not able to be placed in adoptive homes, usually because of some emotional set back that they came to the rescue with.  Some have separation anxiety, some have only been able to adapt to trusting Diane and her staff with their care, and some come to the rescue at an older stage of life.  These pets are treated as Diane's very own personal pets.  She loves them, gives them attention and all the medical care that is necessary to keep them happy, healthy and comfortable until it is time for them to cross the Rainbow Bridge.  Please help Diane, help these pets, who was gave up, abandoned, or dumped.  No one else would love them, but Diane and her staff do their very best to give them the home and life they deserve.  You can be a part of that process by sponsoring one of our very special four-legged friends.
