I’m pleading to anyone out there who doesn’t have kids in their home and is looking for a great dog.  We rescued Legend about 2 years ago.  He is a boxer / shepherd mix, about 3 ½ years old now.  He has been a wonderful dog in the 2 years we’ve had him.  He has been great part our family.  When he first came here he wasn’t quite house trained and didn’t know any commands (or at least that we could figure out).  Now he never has an accident in the house!  He also now knows how to ‘sit’, ‘give paw’, ‘lay down’, and ‘stay’.   He’s a big dog, but a big mush.  He loves to lay by your feet and rest his head on your legs.  He really is a sweet dog who loves affection.  We also think that Legend speaks his own language.  He makes the funniest noises as if he’s talking to you.  He really is a character!  We have had many people to our home and they all adore him.  They have all said what a great dog he is.  We wouldn’t even consider giving him up, except recently we realized that small children are stressing him out.  He has been fine with our own kids in the two years that we have had him. Now due to these unfortunate circumstances, we need to find him a new home.  He really is a gentle dog who would make a great companion for someone with no children.
