Van Gogh is as wonderful as a painting by his name sake.  He came to us painfully shy and very scared.  With love an attention he is growing into a much more sociable fellow.  Thanks in great part to the individual attention he has been given by two of our volunteers.  He is very playful and learning to warm up quickly to people.  He is working on crate training and walking on a leash.  At night he sleeps through the whole night in his crate and does not cry at all.  He grunts and groans when you tak to him or hold him, almost like he is talking to you.  He is good with other dogs and children although he is still a bit shy at first.  A loving patient home will help him trust completely.
