April is a young dog. She was wondering the streets very pregnant and very independant. Diane rescued her so that April would have a nice warm and clean area to have her babies. April was not happy to be at the rescue, and it took her a while to warm up to everyone. Now she is doing wonderful.  April, like many other dogs, has came a long way.  She came in not really able to be handled and has learned how to trust people again.  She is happy and wags her tail at everyone.  She is ready for a new forever home.  Although she is loved here at the rescue, we want her to have a chance in a home with a family who can spoil her rotten.
